The Best Tanning Booth Solution

When you think of tanning, most people think of basking in the sun. Recently, the advancement of sunless tanning lotions have now made it possible to achieve the color you desire without UV light. Self tanning lotions are available from both tanning salons and drug stores. The highest quality ones come from tanning salons and will ensure even, natural
The chemical that is responsible for the skin color change is DHA. It reacts with the amino acids present in the outer layers of skin giving a perfect tan to the skin. It does not do any harm to the skin. The only drawback is that the tan is short lived. The remedy is to use the self tanning lotion more frequently, say, daily or on alternate days.

How should you apply these self tanning lotions?

First, select a small part of your skin and apply the lotion. Then observe it for a full 24 hours. If the color you get is satisfactory, then you can apply to all of your skin. To achieve darker results you can apply the lotion several times, but unlike getting a natural tan in a tanning booth you will not always get darker results, but may begin to turn a slight orange tint. To achieve the best results use a self tanner in combination with sessions in tanning booths. To help maintain your sunless and natural tan make sure to use heavy amounts of moisturizer.

The best time to apply the lotion is an hour before going to bed. Some sunless lotions will stain clothing, but most of them are designed to be machine washable. Even so, it is advisable to wear old, dark colored clothes. For best results remove the dead skin tissues before the application by exfoliating under a shower using a cleansing shower gel. That will allow the skin to absorb the lotion evenly. To avoid tan lines apply the lotion all of your body starting with your legs. If you find tan lines attractive you can also apply the lotion with your bathing suit or undergarments on.

It is very important to wash your hands immediately after application. Allow at least fifteen minutes for the lotion to dry up before putting on any clothes. Sensitive skin must be treated with great care. For best results use a specialty lotion on your face.
